Dear Deer Hat

I finally finished this hat for my friend.

I had to complete a little child's sweater and repair a store bought sweater for two customers before I could complete this fun hat.

Here it is soaking in water before blocking.

The entire design can be viewed in my projects page on Ravelry .

I did a few modifications. I added ribbing on the bottom which meant I had to remove rows from the top of the chart. I'm really happy with the way it turned out.

I couldn't figure out what the hearts were, till I clicked on the picture. HA! Nice job.

The paper is there to "catch" drips. But mainly for cuteness. ;-)

I love your blog title... and banner. Totally cracked me up today! And really, we knitters ought to adopt that saying as our mother-of-all curse words. It's perfect!

Oh boy... another blog for me follow. Found your through Permission to Unwind.

I see you are a knitting teacher. Maybe you have an idea for me. I'm teaching a four week 1 hour class to teens. Two are "familiar" with knitting, the rest are newbies. What would be a good project for them?
