and the Pepper gets the knife!

The time had come for the odd little pepper to serve it's purpose...to end up on our plate!

nom..nom...nom! It was yummy! Hubby chopped it up and steamed it with other veggies and added some pasta sauce with Parmesan served over fettuccine. It was verrrry delicious!

ok, so I'm new to this blogger way of editing things. I made the pictures nice and big before and now it's not letting me do that. I went to a wedding reception on Saturday and I have some photos of a lovely garden. I hope I get it all worked out by messing around with them for the next post.

After a little shenanigans with the digi cam. I have designed a new header for this blog and I like it a lot. The ewe is Maddie the award winning longwool belonging to my pal Natalie. Uh...the finger is mine.

All of a sudden I have a blog and now I don't have anything to say!
This photo is of a painting I have. I bought it because it reminded me of how my head works. See that apple? that is my good ideas. The flaming hair is me freaking out and not being able to access my good ideas. I will have more posts. I just need to get into the groove baybee!

Meanwhile ...I had foot reflexology today, by a Chinese guy that doesn't know a lot of English. It was great and the price was also good....$25 plus tip.

I have no knitting project at the moment because ...I have been doing other non knitting things....like not blogging. Ugh!

Strange Fruit

ok, I know that a pepper isn't a fruit, but you have to admit that this one sure is strange. A customer at the yarn shop brought it in with other home grown produce and I snagged this one. I thought he would make a great picture for my first blog post.
